Provincial cement plants produce and consume 1,350 thousand tons of cement and clinker
(Quang Binh Website) - In the first ten months, the provincial cement plants produced and consumed 1,350 thousand tons of cement and clinker, increased 35% against the same period of 2007, of which cement achieved 875 thousand tons and clinker was 475 thousand tons.
In the remaining two months, the cement plants is expected to produce and consume 200 thousand tons, bringing up the total production of cement and clinker in 2008 to 1,550 thousand tons, increased 38% compared with the year 2007. Of which, it is expected that the Gianh River Cement Plant will produce and consume 1.4 million tons of cement and clinker, achieved 100% of production line capacity.
