At the working with Minh Hoa district, the district's leader briefly informed of its general situation in the past time. In the first 9 months of 2009, despite of meeting many difficulties, the district's socio-economic situation had many positive changes. As estimated, the total area under cultivation of Winter-spring crop was 3,812.6 ha, achieved 100.04% against the plan; the total herd of cattle was 34.721 heads and the total herd of poultry was 61,620 heads, achieved 104.62% against the same period. The handicraft-industry production value at current price was VND15,990 million, achieved 112.8% against the same period. Budget revenues in eight months were VND3,825 million, achieved 76.5% of the plan.

Giving a closing speech at the working, Chairman Phan Lam Phuong highly evaluated the efforts made by the Party and government of Minh Hoa district and ordered it to pay attention to attract investment projects in order to implement well Resolution No.30a of the Government; accelerate the project of building vocational center and improve the ability of managers.

At the same day, the working delegation of Chairman Phan Lam Phuong had a working session with Tuyen Hoa district. According the report presented at the working, the district's socio-economic situation in the first 9 months of 2009 had a fair growth rate; national defence - security, social safety and order were upheld. The total area under cultivation was estimated at 7,569 ha, achieved 103.3% of the plan; the output of food was 18,019 tons, achieved 106% of the plan; non-state handicraft-industry production value was estimated at VND19 billion, achieved 69.6% of the plan, increased by 7.3% against the same period. Budget revenues achieved VND14.386 billion, increased by 2.3% against the same period last year.

Main tasks in the 4th quarter of 2009, the district will focus on setting up the socio-economic development plan, state budget estimate and the key projects, programs and plan till year 2010; furthering the poverty-alleviation movement, deleting temporary houses for poor households; accelerating the progress of building key projects; strengthening state management on cultural services.

Addressing the working, Chairman Phan Lam Phuong praised the achievements that Tuyen Hoa district obtained in the past time and asked it to strengthen work of site clearance in order to create favorable conditions for the ongoings projects in the district area; make full use of available resources to serve industry development, especially the building materials manufacturing industry; ensure traffic safety to minimize the number of the dead and the wounded because of traffic accident in the district area.
