Provincial People's Committee distributes rice to overcome consequences caused by Storm No.9
Accordingly, the total of 500 tons of rice (provided by the Government according to Decision No.1561/QD-TTg dated October 02 2009 of the Prime Minister) was distributed to districts to help local people overcome consequences caused by Storm No.9. Concretely, Minh Hoa district was supported 70 tons, Tuyen Hoa 60 tons, Quang Trach 90 tons, Bo Trach 100 tons, Quang Ninh 70 tons and Le Thuy 110 tons.
The Provincial People’s Committee assigned the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs in coordination with the Department of National Reserve in Binh Tri Thien area and the People’s Committee of Districts to distribute rice to localities in accordance with practical situation and the law provisions.
