Granting VND5 billion to flood hit people in Quang Binh

In this phase, the Ministry of Information and Telecommunications donated VND5 billion raised through the National Humanity Information Gate for flood hit people in Quang Binh. Under the plan, the delegation will pay a visit and present gifts to people in Xuan Tien village, Son Trach commune (Bo Trach).

It is known that in order to help people overcome heavy consequences caused by two past floods, the Ministry of Information and Telecommunications has collected VND15 billion through the National Humanity Information Gate (1400) to help flood victims overcome difficulties and quickly resume their life. After over a month of operation, the information gate has so far received a total of VND15 billion from benefactors nationwide and the first relief aid has been sent to central provinces of Nghe An, Ha Tinh, Quang Binh.

On behalf of the local people, Permanent Vice-chairman expressed his deep thanks to the organisations and agencies and individuals throughout the country for their valuable assistance to Quang Binh Province. Vice-chairman also emphasized that this donation would contribute to help flood hit people to overcome difficulties to promptly resume production and stabilize their life.  

Sharing difficulties with flood hit people in Quang Binh

On the same day, the Ha Noi State Bank provided VND70 million and goods in relief aid to flood hit people in Quang Binh. Concretely, Quang Loc commune (Quang Trach) was granted VND30 million and goods; Tien Hoa commune (Minh Hoa) and Truong Xuan commune (Quang Ninh) were granted VND20 million and goods each.
