Depicting a scene of Dien Bien Phu campaign

The art program "General Vo Nguyen Giap and the symphony of Dien Bien", which lasted for two hours and ten minutes, took the topic of Dien Bien Phu liberation to be the content of the script to illustrate the role of General Vo Nguyen Giap, a talented leader of the nation in the historic Dien Bien Phu victory over the French in 1954.

The program involved up to over 300 actors and actresses from Nam Dinh Theatre Company, Lam Son Song Dance and Theatre Company (Thanh Hoa), Hue Music Theatre Company and Quang Binh Traditional Arts Group, and many famous artists like meritorious artists Trung Hieu, Tien Loi and Bac Viet, especially meritorious artist Trinh Mai Nguyen was chosen to play the role of General Vo Nguyen Giap.

"General Vo Nguyen Giap and the symphony of Dien Bien" is the first program that the image of the General Vo Nguyen Giap has become the centered image of a big program, and for the first time there has been an art program combining both stage elements and movies to ensure the program to increase the emotional and practical factors.

This is also the art program in honour of the talented leadership of Uncle Ho, the Party Central and the direct leader of the campaign is the top ranking General Vo Nguyen Giap, creating the victory of Dien Bien Phu “world-shaking”.

Through this program, General Director of the art show, Writer Nguyen Quang Vinh expressed his wishes the top ranking General Vo Nguyen Giap longevity to enter the age of 101.
