Hand over 152 sets of desk and chair to pupils and teachers of Van Hoa Secondary School
(Quang Binh Website) - Nguoi Lao Dong Newspaper in coordination with the Provincial Labour Union has recently held a hand-over ceremony of 152 sets of desk and chair to pupils and teachers of the Van Hoa secondary school (Tuyen Hoa district).
It was known that Van Hoa was one of communes that suffered great financial losses, especially school furniture which were swept away by the historical floods in 2010. In order to help the Van Hoa secondary school overcome difficulties, Nguoi Lao Dong Newspaper donated VND138 million, which was raised by readers' contributions, to make 152 sets of desks and chairs to welcome a new school year.
This is a meaningful gift to encourage the school to overcome difficulties and stabilize work of teaching and studying.
