At the question and answer session, most of ideas focused on such urgent matters as the quality of the road to Xuan Hoa commune; efficiency of regenerated rice production; allocation of land and forestry for ethnic minority groups; lack of doctors at medical stations in communes; the progress of implementing the project of preserving and embellishing historical relic of Ho Dynasty Citadel; exemption or reduction of land use tax for the enterprise; job creation for laborers and so on.

Addressing the session, Chairman Nguyen Huu Hoai collected the ideas and contributions made by deputies on socio-economic development situation in the first half of 2012 and the voters’ petitions and questions.

"Main tasks and solutions to successfully realize the socio-economic tasks in the second half of 2012 is to focus on making a full use of all resources to effectively implement the national target program on building new rural area; taking effective measures to solve difficulties for enterprises; take advantage of capital source for infrastructure facilities; preserve and bring into play tourism potential to attract foreign and domestic tourists to Quang Binh", Chaiman Hoai stressed.

Chairman of the Provincial People's Council delivers a closing speech at the session

After three working days with high responsibility, the 5th session of the 16th Provincial People’s Council completed its agenda and passed eight resolutions. Chairman Binh called upon all levels and branches as well as whole people in the province to uphold the spirit of solidarity and make an utmost effort to overcome all difficulties and successfully realize the socio-economic development tasks in the second half of 2012.
