Perspective of Nhat Le 2 Bridge, Quang Binh

During the working visit to central Quang Binh Province in February of 2010, Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung has allowed Quang Binh province to invest in building Nhat Le 2 Bridge with the capital source of governmental bonds and other funds.

Earlier, the Quang Binh provincial Department of Transport has organized an architectural design contest for Nhat Le Bridge and drew the participation of many construction consultant companies in the country with many models of modern design.

As a result, the design “Dong Hoi city in renovation period” of the Construction Consultant Joint-stock Company No.533 (Da Nang) has been selected to carry out construction of Nhat Le 2 Bridge.

The 515.2m long bridge has a total investment of over 936 billion VND with two four-land carriage ways.

Once being completed, the project will contribute to improving the system of coastal road, promoting socio-economic and tourism development of the province and ensuring national defense and security as well as traffic network in Dong Hoi city.

The construction of Nhat Le 2 Bridge is expected to start construction of on August 31,2012.
