In 2017, 12,656 visitors experience ecotourism products and exploration tours in Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park
In order to achieve those results, the Management Board of Phong Nha - Ke Bang in coordination with related units has effectively exploited the ecological tourism project in the national park; improved the quality of services and tours; developed a staff of experts, tourist guides and porters with professional skills.
In addition, the Park Management Board has also paid attention to work of management and supervison of ecotourism activity, therefore, the park's nature conservation has been maintained.
Most of visitors have highly evaluated and satisfied with the form of this ecological tourism and its quality of services, contributing to affirming the position and brand name for Quang Binh tourism.
Especially, the development of ecotourism products and exploration tours has also provided with stable jobs for 210 local laborers with an average income of VND 5 million/person/month, helping them raise the awareness of the world's heritage values and protection of environment and natural resources.
