1,709 dwelling houses given to ethnic minority people to welcome Tet holiday
(Quang Binh Website) - According to information from the Quang Binh Provincial Board of Nation on December 28, Minh Hoa mountainous distict invested more than VND20 billion mobilized from many resources to build 1,236 dwelling houses for ethnic groups of Ruc, Ma Lieng, Sach and May... to welcome Tet holiday 2009.
The distict also provided capital to reclaim production to 507 households, and built fresh-water projects to meet the people's demand.
In Le Thuy district, 473 houses for Van Kieu ethnic group were built and completed and 852 "Great Unity" houses were also built to help the poor.
