Quang Binh Farmers' Association set up plan to promote the transfer and application of science and technology and human resource training
(Quang Binh Website) - Implementing Resolution No.26/NQ-TW of the Party Central Committee on agriculture, farmers and rural areas with the aim of developing a comprehensive, modern and sustainable agriculture, the Quang Binh Provincial Farmers' Association is setting up a plan on promoting the transfer and application of science and technology and human resource training, making a breakthrough in the process of industrialization and modernization in agriculture and rural areas.
Under the plan for year 2009, the Provincial Farmers' Association will pay much attention to human resource training, improving academic standard, vocational training and application of scientific and technological advances in production.
Knowing that, in 2008, the total food production in the whole province achieved more than 260 thousand tons, the agro-forestry and fishery production value increased over 5%; rate of trained rural labors and members of the farmers' association made up 8-10%.
