Le Thuy district: commend and award to teachers and pupils won high results in the good pupil contests at all levels
(Quang Binh Website) - In order to encourage individuals and collectives who won high results in the good pupil contests at all levels in the 2008-2009 academic year, Le Thuy district has lately held a commending ceremony for 314 teachers and pupils in the area.
Typically, the Le Thuy high school won 78 individual prizes and 20 collective prizes at provincial level; the Tran Hung Dao high school won 41 individual prizes and 5 collective prizes... Especially, Le Thi Oanh (the Mai Thuy primary school) and Nguyen Thi Cam Van (the Hoa Thuy primary school) are disabled pupils and have disadvantaged situation but studied well at school and won many high prizes in the contests at provincial and district levels.
On this occasion, the District's Study Encouragement Society extracted nearly VND40 million to award to individuals and collectives who gained excellent achievements in the cause of education and training in the area.
