More than 17,000 houses submerged in Trami-induced water in Quang Binh province
At least 17,628 houses in Quang Binh province have been submerged in water induced by typhoon Trami, local authorities reported this noon.
Heavy rain induced by typhoon Trami causes widespread inundation in the central province of Quang Binh
Local authorities also reported that one resident was killed while joining search and rescue effort in the central locality.
Trami, the sixth storm in the East Sea so far this year, reached Viet Nam's central coastline, bringing torrential rain to localities from Quang Binh to Quang Ngai provinces on October 27.
