The talk between the Quang Binh Provincial Department of Public Security and the Khammouane Provincial Security Department

At the talk, two sides informed each other of the implementation of the 23rd Memmorandum of Understanding between the Quang Binh Provincial Department of Public Security and the Khammouane Provincial Security Department.

Accordingly, in the past years, the situation of border security between Quang Binh and Khammouane provinces has basically remained the stability. The two sides have coordinated to effectively control the number of people for exit and entry via the Cha Lo - Na Phau International Border Gate with nearly 500,000 persons, including approximately 14,000 foreigners (apart from Vietnam and Laos); had a close collaboration with local authorities of border communes to strengthen work of propaganda and law education, aiming to raise the spirit of vigilance and execute border regulations.

Besides, the public security forces of the two provinces of Quang Binh and Khammouane have created conditions for the professional units to exchange information, investigate and verify many cases, discover and arrest some smugglings and subjects for illegal immigration. In addition, the two sides have also strengthened the struggles against crime in border area.

Representatives of the Quang Binh Provincial Department of Public Security and the Khammouane Provincial Security Department inked the 24th Memmorandum of Understanding

At the talk, the Quang Binh Provincial Department of Public Security and the Khammouane Provincial Security Department signed the 24th Memmorandum of Understanding with a focus on strengthening collaboration on information exchange and border security, and promoting cooperation and comprehensive development between the two provinces of Quang Binh and Khammouane.
