Quang Binh, Hyogo boosts cooperation

(Quang Binh Portal) - The provincial People"s Committee on September 19th held a meeting with a delegation of Hyogo province (Japan) led by Mr. Joba Isamu, member of the parliament of Hyogo province to discuss investment opportunity and cooperation in Quang Binh province.

Receiving and working with the delegation were Mr. Tran Cong Thuat, Standing Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation; Mr. Nguyen Huu Hoai, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committe, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; representatives of related agencies and localities.

On behalf of provincial leader, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee introduced general information, potentials and advantages of Quang Binh province. He expressed his hope that the province would receive cooperation and investment of Hyogo province in all fields, including: construction of resort, leisure area, development of international-level ecotourism in the coastal area and Phong Nha - Ke Bang region; support for travel companies and establishment of a representative office.

With several year's experience in management of the Arima hot spring in Hyogo province, Chairman also desired Hyogo province to help Quang Binh develop ecotourism at the Bang hot spring in Kim Thuy commune, Le Thuy district.

At the meeting, member of parliament of Hyogo province thanked for warm reception of Quang Binh province. With his local potentials and advantages, he hoped two sides would boost cooperation in economy, culture and industry.

Besides, Mr. Joba Isamu also learnt about some issues relating to environment and tourism, and the projects which Quang Binh province are calling for investment.

Speaking at the meeting, Chairman of the provincial People's Committee said the province would continue providing necessary information on the projects and receive an invitation of Mr. Joba Isamu for the working visit to Hyogo province in the lastest time.

On this occasion, the Hyogo's delegation will carry out a survey to Bang hot spring in Kim Thuy commune, Le Thuy district to seek investment opportunity and visit Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park in Bo Trach district.
