In exchanges, the two sides appreciated the cooperation between of the two provinces in recent years and desired that two provinces will continue to cooperate on all fields where the two sides have strengths; strengthen the cooperation in socio-economic, culture and tourism development; create advantage conditions for investors, businesses to seek opportunities of investment and cooperation; etc.

The two sides also discussed and agreed to sign a cooperation agreement between Quang Binh and Champasak provinces in the 2016-2020 period in the fields of economy, culture - society, information exchanges..., contributing to bringing cooperative relation between two provinces in particular, the friendship of Vietnam and Laos in general to develop a new height.
