THE COMMUNITY CULTURE ECOTOURISM PARK (THE RUC ETHNIC PEOPLE), QUANG BINH PROVINCE

1. Project goals and project items:

- Explore the culture of the Ruc ethnic people; visit tropical forests, the ecosystem of rocky mountain forests, caves; see wild animals;

- Help the Ruc ethnic people to further integrate with common community.

- Invest in the homestay system in the area of the Ruc people;

- Organize expedition tours to caves in the surrounding regions;

- Build animal watch-towers in primeval forests;

2. Project scale and location:

- Location: ln the west of Quang Binh province (the area adjacent to Laos) where there are three communes locating in the vast Truong Son range, the communes of the Ruc people, the last of the 54 Vietnamese peoples discovered living in caves.

3. Total estimated investment capital:

- VND 500 billion

4. Forms of investment:

- 100% capital of the investor

5. lnvolved agencies:

- Project owner: the lnvestor and Quang Binh provincial authority

- The project is valued by: the Quang Binh Department of Culture, Sport and Tourism, and the Management Board of Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park;

- Approving agency: Quang Binh Provincial People's Committee.
