Vice-chairman Tran Van Tuan inspects implementation of the project for planting rubber trees in Le Thuy district

(Quang Binh Website) - On October 22, a delegation of the provincial People's Committee led by Vice-chairman Tran Van Tuan went on an inspection tour about the implementation of the project for planting rubber trees in Le Thuy district.

The delegation was accompanied by representatives of the Departments of Planning - Investment, Agriculture - Rural Development and Resources - Environment; Office of the Provincial People's Committee, People's Committee of Le Thuy district; Department of Forest Management and Long Dai forestry and industry one-member limited liability Company.

The project has been carried out by the Multi-battalion 15 since 2009. Up to now, the project has cultivated 450 ha of rubber out of 652 ha of rubber plantation, of which 26 ha in 2009, 154 ha in 2010 and 270 ha in 2011. Total investment of the project is estimated at over VND22 billion.

In his inspection trip, Vice-chairman highly appreciated the efficiency of the project in the past time and applauded efforts of the Multi-battalion 15 in implementing the project for planting rubber trees in Le Thuy district.

The Multi-battalion 15 should closely coordinate with the Long Dai Company to check land area of rubber plantation under its management; pay attention to the life's quality for laborers, give the priority to using local laborers and create jobs for ethnic groups, Mr Tuan asked.

Vice-chairman stressed that the provincial People's Committee pledged to direct related agencies and localities to create the most favorable conditions to implement the project and take specific solutions to deal with difficulties for the Multi-battalion 15 in the progress of implementing the project.
