Attending the ceremony was representative of the provincial Post Office, Study Promotion Society, the VNPT's leader and representative of the primary schools received the scholarships.

This is the second consecutive year the VNPT Corporation has granted "VNPT for the cause of Education" Scholarships to primary schools nation-wide. The establishment of "VNPT for the cause of Education" Scholarships aims to help the poor, orphan and disable pupils who make progresses in their lives and studies.

In 2007, the "VNPT for the cause of Education" Scholarships granted 2000 scholarships to poor pupils who perform excellent schooling in 22 provinces and cities with total value of VND1bil. Accordingly, Quang Binh province is awarded 100 scholarships to the pupils who excel in their studies despite difficult situation, worth VND 500 thousand each. Of which, 10 scholarships are given to Le Thuy district, 20 to Tuyen Hoa, 10 to Bo Trach, 20 to Dong Hoi and 20 to Quang Ninh.

"VNPT for the cause of Education" Scholarships contributed to help pupils overcome difficulties in their lives and become the excellent pupils at school.
