In 2007, export turnover achieved 51.5 million USD

(Quang Binh Website) - Commodity export turnover in the first 10 months of 2007 achieved USD 45.75 million, increasing by 11.59% compared with the yearly plan, increasing by 50.99% against the same period, according to the report of the Department of Trade and Tourism.

Export turnover achieved an average of USD 4.58 million a month, of which the density in the State economy accounted for nearly 16.64%. The density in aquatic products for export made up 1.83%, reaching USD 838.23 thousand. Export rubber achieved 15,917.4 tons, making up 65.2% of export turnover; diverse wood for export achieved 16,085.4 m3.

Chinese market has held a large export market share of the province with main commodities like rubber, wood and titan ore. The markets of Japan, Pakistan and South Korea accounted for 11.59% in density with 109.77 tons of seafood, 863.08 tons of Colophan and 20 m3 of refined wood.

The export turnover in 2007 was estimated to achieve USD 51.5 million, increasing by 34.57% against the year 2006. Main commodities for export were rubber (18.049 tons), diverse wood (17,038 m3), aquatic products (141 tons) and other commodities like refined wood, titan ore, colophan and starch cassava.
