Dong Hoi: ratio of agricultural production decreases by 6.5% of total value of the economy
(Quang Binh Website) - Over the past three years, Dong Hoi city's economic structure shifted onto right orientation, increasing ratio of industry - handicraft and service production and decreasing ratio of agricultural production. Until now, the ratio of agricultural production decreases by 6.5% of total value of the economy.
Top priority is given to the development of industry - handicraft and service, aiming at attract laborers from rural and agricultural areas. At present, 1,850 industry-handicraft production establishments are registered in the city, attracting 9,850 regular laborers with the production value of reaching VND935 billion.
In 2009-2010 period, Dong Hoi city continues to decrease ratio of agricultural production with the rate of about 5.5%, increasing ratio of industry-handicraft production by 44% and service by 55.5%.
