VND500 million to donate flood victims in Quang Trach and Bo Trach
(Quang Binh Website) – In response to “Week towards Central flood hit people” launched by the Vietnamese Fatherland Front Central Committee, the Investment Newspaper, the Ha Noi Stock Exchange, the Vietnam Securities Depository, business community and stock exchange members on November 6 raised a subscription to donate to flood people in Quang Trach and Bo Trach districts with a total value of VND500 million.
Concretely, the delegation granted 21 boxes of clothes and 700 gifts to Quang Phuc (250 gifts), Quang Tho (250 gifts) and Quang Lien (200 gifts) communes, Quang Trach district. Each gift included VND200,000 and other necessities like blanket, mosquito-net, bucket and medicine with a total value of VND530,000.
The delegation also donated 80 sleeping mats, 80 blankets, 8 boxes of toy and 400 face-flannels to 8 primary schools; 191 boxes of primary book to 14 primary schools in Bo Trach district.
On the same day, the delegation also presented gifts in two provinces of Nghe An and Ha Tinh.
