Cultural exchange to mark the Vietnam-Laos Friendship and Solidarity Year 2012
Also present at the cultural exchange were H.E. Soulivong Daravong, Minister of Energy and Mines of Lao PDR; H.E Nam Vinhaket, Minister of Industry and Trade of Lao PDR; Mr. Vu Huy Hoang, Minister of Industry and Trade of Vietnam; Mr. Hoang Dang Quang, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Quang Binh Provincial Party's Committee together with leaders of relevant branches and localities.

Speaking at the event, Mr.Nguyen Xuan Quang expressed his pleasure to the working visit of the Lao delegation and reaffirmed friendly relation between Vietnam and Laos in general and between ministries and branches of two countries in particular over the past time. He hoped that this cultural exchange will give a chance for ministries of two countries to exchange their experiences and strengthen cooperation.
Under the plan, the three-day cultural exchange includes a range of activities such as musical and sport exchange, paying a visit to historical relics and landscapes in three central provinces of Quang Binh, Quang Tri and Thua Thien Hue.
