Attending the session were Mr Nguyen Xuan Quang, Standing Vice chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; representatives of Departments of Foreign Affairs, Transportation, Planning and Investment, Culture - Sport and Tourism, and Industry and Trade; leaders of the Offices of the provincial Party Committee and People's Committee and Quang Binh University.

On behalf of provincial leaders, Standing Vice Chairman Nguyen Xuan Quang informed of cooperation situation with the provinces of Lao PDR and obtained results in the fields of economy, culture - society, national defence and security between the sides in the past time and put forward orientations for cooperation in the coming time.

At the session, delegates spent more time on discussing solutions to promote foreign activities; strengthen exchanges and comprehensive cooperation in economy, culture and tourism; boost traditional and friendly relationship between Quang Binh province and Lao provinces on basis of preserving the sovereignty and national security.

Speaking at the session, Mr Nguyen Manh Hung, ambassador of extraordinary and plenipotentiary of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam to Lao DPR congratulated Quang Binh province on obtained results in cooperation exchange with the provinces of Laos.

In the future, he expressed his hope that the province will continue creating conditions for Lao students in their study; keep in regular contact with the Vietnamese embassy in Laos to have an effective cooperation.
