Goods via Cha Lo International Border Gate increase twofold

(Quang Binh Website) - According to the report of the Provincial Management Board of Economic Zones, number of goods via Cha Lo International Border Gate increased sharply in the first eight months of 2013, especially in August.

Number of import-export goods in eight months reached over 984,000 tons, equal to 197% from last year' same period. Of which, imports reached 450,000 tons, exports 112,000 tons and goods in transit 421,000 tons.

Import-export turnover reached 901.7 million USD, increased sevenfold from last year' same period and twofold from 2012, of which, goods in transit reached 712 million USD.

Main goods for export, import and transit via Cha Lo Border Gate included coal dust, consumer goods, machines and equipment, building materials, wood of all kinds, plaster, fruits, buffaloes and etc.
