Accordingly, the Provincial People's Committee bans all constructions and exploitations in the protected relic area. In special case of the relic's land use, it have to be permitted in documents by Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.

In addition, the Provincial People's Committee also assigned Quang Ninh district, Truong Son commune and the Department of Culture and Sport to implement State management on this historical relic according to regulations of the law.

The recognition of Ben Tiem base as a provincial-level historical relic is to preserve and educate the patriotic tradition and revolutionary struggle of the province.

Located in Truong Son commune, Quang Ninh district, Ben Tiem region was selected as a base of Quang Ninh district and Quang Binh province during the war of resistance against the French colonialists.

Ben Tiem base marked many significant historical events in the process of development of the district and the province. This base hosted the 2nd and 3rd Party Congress of Quang Ninh district and the 3rd Party Congress of Quang Binh province.

Nowadays, Ben Tiem base is not only a relic, marking many historical events, it is also considerd as an attractive destination for tourists to Quang Binh with many interesting experience in harmony with the nature.
