* On the morning of December 21st, the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee and Provincial Vietnamese Fatherland Front Committee held a incense-offering ceremony in memory of heroes and martyrs at the Ba Doc Martyrs' Cemetery (Bo Trach district).

Provincial leaders offered incenses at Ba Doc Martyrs' Cemetery

The ceremony was attended by Mr. Hoang Dang Quang, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Mr. Nguyen Xuan Quang, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; members of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, Provincial Fatherland Front Committee and leaders of provincial-level agenices and unions, Dong Hoi city and Bo Trach district.

In the solemnly atmosphere, provincial leaders and delegates stroke bell, laid wreath of flowers and offered incenses in commemoration of heroes and martyrs who laid down their lives for the cause of national liberation, protection of the Fatherland and international missions.

Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee burnt incenses at tombs of heroes and martyrs.

Then, provincial leaders burnt incenses at tombs to express their gratitude to heroes and martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland as well as the peaceful life and happiness of the people.

* On the same day, a delegation of provincial leaders also paid a visit and offered incense to the resting place of General Vo Nguyen Giap at Vung Chua - Yen Island (Quang Dong commune, Quang Trach district)

The delegation included Mr. Tran Xuan Vinh, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Organizing Board of the Provincial Party Committee; Mr. Nguyen Xuan Quang, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Mr. Truong An Ninh, Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council together with members of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and Provincial Fatherland Front Committee and repersentatives of the Provincial Military Command, Provincial Public Security, Border Guard Command and others.

Before the tomb of General Vo Nguyen Giap, provincial leaders respectfully offered incenses to pay deep tribute to General Vo Nguyen Giap - the elder brother of Vietnam People’s Army and the general commander of the People’s Armed Forces.

During the whole life given to the revoluntary cause, General Vo Nguyen Giap were a typical example of revolutionary spirit, initiative in the art of war, determination to fight for winning the victory in the efforts to defeat all malevolent plots and tricks of the enemies.
