On the side of Quang Binh province, Mr Tran Hai Chau, Head of the Department of Home Affairs of the Provincial Party Committee and representatives of related agencies and localities received and worked with the delegation of Yunnan province.

Mr Tran Hai Chau, Head of the Department of Home Affairs of the Provincial Party Committee presented a souvenir gift to the delegation of the Politics and Law Committee of Yunnan Province (China)

At the meeting, Head of the Department of Home Affairs of the Quang Binh Provincial Party Committee stressed this is an opportunity for the two provinces to exchange and share experience in home affairs, helping strengthen the traditional friendship between the people of the two countries.

On behalf of the provincial leader, Mr Tran Hai Chau also briefly introduced on geographical position, history of national liberation struggle, potentials for economic development with a focus on potentials for tourism development of Quang Binh province; marriage between Quang Binh people (Vietnam) and Chinese people; issuing a license for foreign laborers in the province.

The two sides also shared experience in solving problems of marriage, child adoption involving foreign elements; experience in discovering and solving cases of human trafficking; demand for tourism cooperation between the two provinces of two countries.

Closing the meeting, on behalf of the Yunnan delegation, Deputy Secretary of the Politics and Law Committee of Yunnan Province sincerely thanked leaders of the Department of Home Affairs of the Quang Binh Provincial Party Committee for warm reception. He hoped that the two provinces would boost a long term cooperation on home affairs in the furture.

In addition, Head of the Department of Home Affairs of the Quang Binh Provincial Party Committee also highlighted the importance of cooperation between the two sides in solving problems on home affairs.

Through the meeting, the two sides would advise the government of two countries on building a mechanism of cooperation in socio-economic development, contributing to improving the people's lives between the provinces sharing a common borderline.
