In October of 2017, total turnover from economic zones and industrial parks reached VND 222 billion
Production of loaded cargo via Hon La port was estimated at 81,844 tons, reached 74% from the same period last year. Export value was an estimate of VND 73 billion, reached 55%. VND 8.7 billion was collected to implement tax obligation, reached 72% against the same period last year.
4,581 laborers were provided with stable jobs, rose by 457 people from the same period last year. Average income for laborer reached VND 5 million/person/month.
In the upcoming time, in order to create favorable conditions for production and consumption of products, the Management Board of Economic Zone will continue coordinating with all levels and agencies to strengthen supervision, timely solve difficulties of investors, propagandize and disseminate guidelines and legal documents, instruct the enterprises to strictly implement the regulations and policies of the law, etc.
