Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee delivers a speech at Quang Binh Gifted High School

In the academic year of 2012-2013, the province has 615 schools and educational establishments, of which there are 180 kindergartens, 209 primary schools, 148 secondary schools, 17 primary and junior secondary schools, 27 high schools, 5 secondary and high schools, 6 technical and vocational training centers, 1 university, 3 professional secondary schools and 10 centers foreign languages and informatics. The province has 7,400 classrooms with more than 200,000 students and pupils, 13,154 teachers and 1,506 educational management officials.

Speaking at schools, the provincial leaders praised excellent achievements that all teachers and students obtained in teaching and studying over the past year, hoping that the schools should improve the quality of teaching and studying to obtain more achievements in the academic year of 2012-2013.

Besides, the provincial leaders asked the schools should continue effectively implementing the Campaign “Studying and following the moral example of Ho Chi Minh” and the Campaign “Each teacher should set an example of morality, self-study and creativeness”; pushing ahead the emulation movement titled “Build a friendly school, active students”; renovating method of teaching and studying; speeding up application of information technology in teaching and studying; improving quality of education and training to train human resources with the high quality, meeting the demand for industrialization and modernization.

In addition, provincial leaders asked the schools to continue taking effective measures to enhance quality of comprehensive education and renovate method of teaching and studying; paying more attention to improving quality of teachers and educational management officials; and further upgrading infrastructure and equipment for teaching and studying.
