Chairman of the provincial People's Committee inspects the implementation of tasks at Cha Lo Border Gate Economic Zone

In the first four months of 2013, the total of export-import turnover through Cha Lo International Border Gate Economic Zone reached over US$446.8 million, increased by 858% from the same period last year; the number of people and vehicles for exit and entry reached over 121,000, increased by 44% from the same period last year; State budget revenues was an estimation at nearly VND47 billion, reached 24.4% of the plan for 2013.

At the meeting with the Management Board of Cha Lo International Border Gate Economic Zone, Chairman Nguyen Huu Hoai highly appreciated remarkable results that the Management Board obtained in the first four months of 2013. In the forthcoming time, Chairman asked the Management Board of Economic Zone and relevant agencies to promote administrative procedure reform; ensure customs clearance favorably; well implement the planning; quickly carry out construction of interdisciplinary house and work out the plan to coordinate with the relevant authorities of Laos to strengthen investment in infrastructure, ensuring trade exchange between provinces of Vietnam and Laos.
