1,000 tons of rice given to flood-hit families
On Sep 13 2007, the provincial People's Committee approved the decision to provide relief rice (phase II) for flood-hit families in three districts of Tuyen Hoa, Quang Trach and Minh Hoa with total amount of 1,000 tons out of 1,500 tons (500 tons was distributed in the first phase).
Concretely, Tuyen Hoa district was given 400 tons, Quang Trach district 400 tons and Minh Hoa 200 tons. The provincial People's Committee entrusted the Chairman of the People's Committee of Districts to distribute rice to flood-hit people.
