Quang Binh: VND1.8bln to build water closet for pupils
(Quang Binh Website) - Since early 2008, the Dong Hoi city Environmental Sanitation Project has provided a support of VND1.8bln (phase I) to build water-closet for the pupils in eight schools at all levels and will continue to invest the expense in building 32 water closets for the remaining schools.
Knowing that many schools haven't so far had water closet or haven't met the hygienic standards, so the pupils easily catch the related diseases.
* Ly Hoa primary school in Hai Trach commune (Bo Trach, Quang Binh) has been recently begun construction with the total capital of VND3bln. This is the school that is donated by Mr Phan Hai (in Ho Chi Minh City) to the commune's pupils.
The school includes two floors, ten classrooms and five functional rooms. It is estimated to be operational in occasion of the start of the academic year of 2008-2009.
