Awarding ceremony of ''Ai huu'' scholarships to excellent pupils in 2007-2008 academic year
(Quang Binh Website) - The "Ai huu" Quang Binh Association in Ho Chi Minh city in coordination with the Department of Education and Training has recently held a ceremony to award the "Ai huu" scholarships to high-school pupils who obtained excellent achievements in the 2007-2008 academic year.
The "Ai huu" Quang Binh Association in Ho Chi Minh City is a voluntary social organization of Quang Binh fellow-countrymen in Ho Chi Minh City, aiming at contributing to helping outstanding but poor pupils in Quang Binh province have more condition to study well at school.
At the awarding ceremony, Mr. Tran Xuan Cuong, head of the "Ai huu" Quang Binh Association in Ho Chi Minh city granted 7 scholarships (worth VND2 million each) to excellent pupils of 7 districts and city in the whole province.
Knowing that the "Ai huu" Association is also planning to award sets of computer (worth VND50-60 million) to the Hoang Hoa Tham high school in Le Thuy district to serve in teaching and studying.
