Quang Binh Provincial People's Committee approves investment report of two hydroelectric projects of Kim Hoa and Khe Ron
Attending the meeting were leading representative of departments and branches, People's Committee of Tuyen Hoa district and representative of relevant communes.
Two hydroelectric projects of Kim Hoa and Khe Ron invested by the Truong Thinh General Construction Company have an area of 578 ha, with the total invested capital of VND550 billion. These two projects are in the master plan for the national electricity network. Under the plan, the Kim Hoa hydroelectric plant has the capacity of 20MW and Khe Ron 6.5MW. Two projects are estimated to begin construction by the end of 2008 and complete in 2010.
Addressing the meeting, Chairwoman Pham Thi Bich Lua praised the investor's effort in implementing two hydroelectric projects in the provincial area, contributing to implementing the process of industrialization and modernization for rural and mountainous areas of Quang Binh province. She asked relevant departments, branches and localities to create favorable conditions for investor to carry out two projects as scheduled.
