Signing programme ''Mobilizing farmers in border and coastal areas to step up production, develop the economy, culture - society and protect the Fatherland" for 2009-2010 period
Accordingly, two sides strengthen to further propaganda and popularization; participate in building and consolidating the political basis in border and coastal areas; popularize and instruct farmers in ethnic groups to effectively implement the programme for socio-economic development, concurrently join in defending the country's sovereignty and border security, maintaining political security, social safety and order in border and coastal areas; participate in building the spiritual and cultural life for the people, promoting and preserving the national character and cultural tradition.
At the signing ceremony, leading representative of two sides also discussed and proposed some measures to implement the programme effectively in the coming time.
