A live TV program named "Spectacular cave tourism in Quang Binh" will be expected to be held on May 28 2011 at Thien Duong (Paradise) Cave, Bo Trach district. The event will include a live talk with scientists and experts about geology and geomorphology as well as special values of the Phong Nha - Ke Bang cave system; an art performance and video clip about the spectacular beauty and global values of cave system in Quang Binh. The program will broadcast on VTV1 and VTV4 channels.

Apart from organizing a live TV program "Spectacular cave tourism in Quang Binh", the Quang Binh Culture and Tourism Week 2011 also includes a wide range of activities, such as the Dong Hoi Culture and Tourism Week with cultural activities of the opening of tourism season 2011 and the inauguration of Bao Ninh Sea Square (May 27), Cau ngu festival (May 17), "Mua bong cheo can" festival (May 25), gastronomy festival (from May 23 to 26); the inauguration of the Song Chay - Dark Cave ecological tours (May 27); a special art performances named "Singing of Son river" (May 26); and the male volleyball tournament of Bo Trach district (from May 24 to 26).

Addressing the meeting, head of the organization board Nguyen Xuan Quang stressed that a live TV program "Spectacular cave tourism in Quang Binh" is an important event of the province's tourism development plan for 2011 and the Quang Binh Culture and Tourism Week 2011. The comrade asked all sectors and localities concerned to well prepare the plan for organizing the Quang Binh Culture and Tourism Week 2011 to disseminate and introduce about the culture and tourism values of Quang Binh land and people, especially the global values of cave system to attract tourists and investors to Quang Binh, contributing to the province's socio-economic development.

Besides, Vice-chairman also ordered all sectors and localities to pay attention to speeding up propaganda of environmental sanitation, food safety, tourism civilization and price management in order to contribute to organize the success of the Quang Binh Culture and Tourism Week 2011 and make good impressions on visitors.
