Over 15 years of establishing and developing, the VSPS gained its great achievements. With more than 200,000 branches and 7.5 million members nationwide, the VSPS plays a vital role in expanding the study promotion campaign and encouraging people to build a learning society.
The society mobilizes over VND 700 billion (US$33.6 million) annually for scholarships and gifts for nearly three million students across the country.
At the ceremony, the Dong Hoi city Study Promotion Society reviewed the society’s activities since its 10th establishment. So far, the society has had 25,529 members (accounting for 25% of population).
The society has granted VND1.7-2.0 billion annually for scholarships and gifts for poor and studious student, contributing to encouraging the studious spirit of students in the province.
On this occasion, the VSPS awarded the campaign medal to 28 members of the Dong Hoi city Study Promotion Society for their excellent achievements in the cause of study encouragement.
