In the first ten months of 2011, export turnover in Cha Lo Border Gate reached over US$85 million
(Quang Binh Website) - Implementing the regulations of the customs sector on ensuring favorable conditions for trade, investment and international tourism, the Department of Customs in Cha Lo Border Gate has mapped out the suitable plan and action program to fulfill the assigned tasks and create favorable conditions for enterprises in the implementation of customs procedures with the motto "Professional - Transparency - Effective".

In 2011, 51,061 vehicles have been carried out procedures for customs clearance, up 30.7% against the same period last year. Of which there are 25,205 vehicles for the entry and 25,856 for the exit.
The total volume of entry and exit commodities reached 635,022 tons, up 58.6% against 2010; export turnover reached nearly US$27 million; import turnover reached US$85.5 million; revenues from export tax reached VND22 billion, imported tax reached VND6.7 billion, value added tax (VAT) reached VND85.5 billion.
