Chairman of the provincial People's Committee speaks at the dialogue

The province currently has 3,429 enterprises operating in the fields of trade - service, industry - construction and agriculture - forestry and fishery. Each year, the enterprises contribute over 60% of total domestic budget revenues and create jobs for more than 50,000 regular laborers and more than 10,000 seasonal laborers.

In 2012 and in the first six months of 2013, the enterprises in the whole country in general and in Quang Binh province in particular had coped with a lot of difficulties. Heavy impacts of economic recession, high interest rate together with high price of materials have strongly affected on production activities and people's life as well as implementation of socio-economic development targets of the province.

However, with the great efforts in taking comprehensive and drastic measures, some provincial enterprises made full use of all resources to strengthen capital mobilization for production and business activities, seek cooperation opportunity and expand market for product consumption. As a result, some enterprises achieved high turnovers such as Le Ninh One-member Company Ltd (VND45.5 billion), Long Dai Forestry and Industry Company Ltd (VND132.9 billion) and Bac Quang Binh One-member Company Ltd (VND15389 billion).

At the dialogue, enterprises shared difficulties in production and business such as source of capital, market and branding of products; and expressed their hope that the province would create all favorable conditions to help enterprises solve difficulties to quickly resume production, contributing to create jobs for laborers and increase budget receipts of the province.

Speaking at the dialogue, PPC Chairman Nguyen Huu Hoai highly valued the great efforts made the enterprises in the past time and shared difficulties with enterprises in production and business.

Chairman also pointed out shortcomings in the fields, especially in trade and services, and asked agencies and localities to take effective measures to assist and solve difficulties for enterprises in the forthcoming time.
