Build four projects to commemorate General Vo Nguyen Giap
(Quang Binh Website) - On August 27th, the People’s Committee of Quang Binh province approved construction of four big projects in commemoration of General Vo Nguyen Giap, a commander-in-chief of the Vietnam People’s Army, an outstanding general of the world and a brilliant son of Quang Binh motherland.
Accordingly, four projects include the statue and park at Dong Hoi city, souvenir area at his homeland in An Xa village, Loc Thuy commune, Le Thuy district and the grave of the General at Vung Chua - Yen Island, Quang Dong commune, Quang Trach district.
This is four big projects of the province, expressing the deep gratitude of the Party Committee, authorities and people of Quang Binh province to great contributions of the General to Quang Binh motherland and the nation.
