The meeting was attended by Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council Nguyen Thi Thanh Huong, members of the Provincial People's Committee, representatives of departments and branches together with 300 enterprises in the province.

In four beginning months of the year, the province had 259 enterprises registered for new establishment, raising number of provincial enterprises up to 4,533 enterprises with a total registered capital of nearly VND23,532 billion.

Besides, 41 projects were issued decision for investment with a total capital of over VND10,782 billion, of which there were two FDI projects with a registered capital of VND440 billion.

From early year to now, the provincial enterprises have taken an initiative in overcoming their difficulties, restructuring production and organization to maintain and expand business activities, contributing to solving jobs for nearly 50,000 laborers.

Especially, some enterprises have exceed the budget plan for 2015 such as Hung Phat Company with VND93 billion in taxes, Quang Binh Oil and Petrol Company with VND72 billion in taxes...

However, in four beginning months of the year, the number of enterprises which finished the procedure for dissolving was 25 ones and the number of enterprises terminating business activities was 68 ones. Budget revenues from enterprises have not still achieved high against the assigned estimate. On the other hand, many enterprise have still met some difficulties in bank loans, many agricultural products for export have reduced, quality of laborers has been low, affecting to capacity of competitiveness of enterprises...

At the meeting, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, representatives of departments and branches and enterprises had a dialogue on difficulties and challenges in production and business activities, including reform of administrative procedures; support for enterprises to improve capacity of competitiveness and goods transport; solutions for tourists attraction to Quang Binh after being affected by the situation of dead fish with huge volumes and unknown reason; supporting policies for fishermen and enterprises in consumption, helping them stabilize their production and business...

Speaking at the meeting, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee shared difficulties with enterprises in the current period. Chairman committed the Provincial People's Committee would continue solving difficulties, creating conditions for enterprises to develop production and business. He hoped that the enterprises would continue improving the spirit of responsibility to promote sustainable development.

On this occasion, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee awarded Certificate of Merit to 23 enterprises for their efforts in exceeding the budget plan in 2015.
