Representative of the Department of Tourism announces top 10 outstanding events of Quang Binh tourism in 2017

1. Quang Binh hosted the national costume of Miss Grand International 2017 for the first time.

2. Quang Binh Cave Festival 2017 with the theme named "Kingdom of Caves - Magnificence - Legendary" had the largest scale that it has ever been done.

3. Quang Binh ranked at the 4th position in Vietnam's top 10 destinations.

4. Quang Binh tourism was known throughout the world via the blockbuster movie "Kong: Skull Island".

5. This was the first time Quang Binh has successfully opened a new international flight.

6. Tourism has quickly been recoveried after the marine environmental incidents.

7. A tourism promotion programme entitled "Quang Binh in the heart of Hanoi" has successfully been organised.

8. Many tourism promotion activities at abroad have ever been organised.

9. Many new tours and destinations have been put into operation.

10. The travel website in English version for foreigners has been opened at the address: www.quangbinhtourism.com

Knownly, this result was selected by local people and visitors through a programme which was held by the Department of Tourism in coordination with Quang Binh Newspaper from December 19 to 29.

This will be a driving force for Quang Binh tourism to develop and complete the targets in 2018 and the following years, contributing to bringing Quang Binh tourism to become a key economic sector.
