Quang Binh welcomes 100,000 foreigners
Contestants of Miss Grand International visits Thien Duong Cave
Director of Tourism Ho An Phong said that this remarkable result obtained thanks to diversifying many new tourism products and strengthening many tourism promotion activities at home and abroad through TripAdvisor - the world's largest travel website, Miss Grand International 2017, Quang Binh Cave Festival... and improving quality of services.
In 2017, this is the first time Quang Binh has welcomed 100,000 international visitors, grew by nearly 120% from last year of 2016. International visitors to Quang Binh mainly came from the Kingdom of England, Australia, America, Thailand, etc.
Seven international travel companies have been established, raising total numeber of international travel company up to 13, increasing twofold from 2016 and the previous years.
The year of 2017 witnessed the growth of air routes and flight frequency of the airlines such as Vietnam Airlines, Vietjet Air, Jetstar Pacific, Vasco.
Total number of domestic and international visitors via Dong Hoi Airline reached more than 500,000 and 2,000 passengers/day at peak time.
