April’s IIP growth at over 16%
Some main industrial products achieved a high growth against the same period last year, including bottled beer up 34.1%; shirt up 28.5%, cement and clinker 27.1%, frozen cuttle 18.8%, building stone 13.5%, brick 18.6% and so on.
Total retail sales of consumer goods and services reached VND1,458 billion, rose 9.5% against April of 2014, of which turnover from services reached VND173 billion, rose 26.2%. Export turnover reached 8.6 million USD, import turnover reached 8.1 million USD.
In order to speed up industrial production growth in the coming time, all levels and agencies continue solving difficulties for the enterprises in the province, strengthening trade promotion and organizing trade exhibitions, contributing to the growth of the province’s industrial production.
