Provincial People's Committee distributes 500 tonnes of rice in food aid to flood-hit people
In order to help flood-hit people solve difficulties, quickly stabilize their normal life and production, on October 30 2007, the provincial People's Committee promulgated Decision No.2642/QD-UBND on distributing 500 tonnes of rice in food aid extracted from the National Reserve of the Government to flood-hit districts, concretely: Minh Hoa district 100 tonnes, Tuyen Hoa 130 tonnes, Quang Trach 150 tonnes, Bo Trach 50 tonnes, Quang Ninh 20 tonnes and Le Thuy 50 tonnes. Concurrently, the provincial People's Committee also asked flood-hit districts to base on the situation of losses and difficulties in communes to provide with urgent relief aid; relief aid must be carried out equitable according to regulations, not to happen losses and negativeness.
