Quang Binh has 164 different mineral mines
(Quang Binh Website) - After many year for surveying and searching in Quang Binh, there are currently 164 mines with 23 different minerals discovered.
The minerals in Quang Binh focus on four main groups, namely natural mineral (peat, coal), metal mineral (iron, lead, zinc, gold, titan, manganese...), non-metallic mineral (limestone, dolomite, brick, tile, kaolin, pegmatite, glass sand, construction sand and phosphorus...) and hot mineral. Of which, cement limestone, cement clay and construction stone have the top-ranked big reserves in the country. Besides, kaolin, glass sand, iron and gold have the medium-ranked reserves.
100 mineral mining licenses have been so far issued in Quang Binh, mainly exploiting cement stone, construction stone, iron, kaolin and titan...
