Scholarships granted to 1,000 poor and studious pupils
(Quang Bình Website) - In an academic year of 2011-2012, the Quang Binh Provincial Study Promotion Association granted scholarships, entitled ‘Tiep suc den truong’ (Giving Strength to Students) worth VND500 million to 1,000 poor and outstanding pupils in the province.
The “Giving Strength to Students” scholarship fund is designed to provide financial aid to needy pupils and children of ethnic people and families who heavily suffered by natural disasters in seven districts and city of Quang Binh province.
This is a meaningful activity of the provincial Study Promotion Association, expressing the society's concerns to poor and studious pupils, helping them overcome difficulties to reach better achievements in studying and become a useful citizen for the society.
