Attending the conference were members of the Standing Committee of the provincial People's Council; representatives of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation, the Department of Education and Communication of the Provincial Party Committee, the Department of Information and Telecommunication, Quang Binh Newspaper, Quang Binh Television and central press agencies in the province.

The 5th session of the 16th Provincial People's Council will be held from July 10 to 12 at the meeting hall of the Provincial People’s Committee Secretariat.

The session will hear and discuss 27 reports and statements with a focus on evaluating the implementation of Resolution of the provincial People's Council on socio-economic development, national defence and security in the first six months of 2012; reviewing the reports and statements made by the Standing Committee of the provincial People's Council, People's Committee, the Provincial Vietnamese Fatherland Front Committee, the People's Court and People's Procuracy; hearing the report presented by provincial National Assembly Delegation on the 3rd session outcomes of the 13th National Assembly and making other major decisions. At the session, the Provincial People’s Council will discuss and pass 12 Resolutions.

At the press conference, representatives of press agencies discussed and contributed their opinions to work of organization and propaganda for the 5th session of the 16th Provincial People's Council.

According the plan, Quang Binh Television will live broadcast the 5th session of the 16th Provincial People's Council.
