Vice State President Nguyen Thi Doan visits policy families in Quang Binh

(Quang Binh Website) - In her working visit to Quang Binh province, Vice State President Nguyen Thi Doan has visited and presented gifts to social policy families in Dong Hoi city, to mark the 65th anniversary of Vietnam’s War Invalids and Martyrs Day, July 27th.

Accompanying the delegation were Standing Vice Chairman of Quang Binh provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Xuan Quang and representatives of the line Ministries, agencies and localities.

During the visits, the delegation paid a visit to heroic Vietnamese mother Tran Thi Nu in Quang Phu commune; Mr Hoang Ba Ngon, a wounded soldier in Quang Phu commune and Ms Nguyen Thi Luyen, wife of martyr Hoang Van Tac in Bac Ly ward, Dong Hoi city.

Vice State President expressed her consolation and sharing with great sacrifices and losses of relatives of martyrs and wounded soldiers for the cause of independence and freedom of the nation.

Ms Doan hoped that policy beneficiaries would continue upholding revolutionary tradition and encouraging their descendants to strive to do well in their studies and become useful citizens.

Paying tribute to heroic martyrs

On the same day, Vice State President Doan also offered incense in commemoration of heroic martyrs at Tam Co Cave on the Road 20 - Quyet Thang.
